So the important thing about testing to see if something is fixed before making a long road trip is to test under the conditions you’ll be in...
While the Disco drove great at 70-75, 80+ suddenly my vibration was back. At 90 (don’t judge, I was passing) it became intolerable but also very clearly coming from the front right.
Bailed to a Discount Tire in OKC and hoping they find something wrong with wheel/tire. Should only lose about 1.5 hrs to this, which is a blow but not an insurmountable one.
If this doesn’t solve it... Unclear what is next.
Ugh I suck. I guess sometimes the solution isn’t to “ send it.”

Is the vibration only when you exceed 80? Maybe don't exceed 80. Also don't exceed 90 either

if you drag your brakes a little for a while and then try again is it better or worse? I find that the cruiser vibes more when cold because the front rotors are “warped”

Maybe it gets better at some point! I think the only solution is to take it up to maximum speed, and then if it’s ok, back off from there until it starts up again.

Yea man, these old Discos are not happy above 70-75. Mine really didn’t like it.

Having just recently played the “Maybe the vibration is an unbalanced wheeL’ game and been disappointed, I hope yours turns out better.
